ReplyDeleteIs it just me, or is it typical mom-style to get all excited for the kids to have an opportunity to play in the snow - then once you get outside, you remember that Mama hates the snow & cold?!
Ha - I could not get inside fast enough! After about 15 minutes I was DONE!
DeleteI love the second picture - he just looks so in awe of the adventure out! We are still waiting for our snow...I'm in central Minnesota and we got a dusting the other day - but still not enough to cover the grass. New Years Eve/Day we got a few inches so the kids (3 1/2 & 4 1/2) got to try out their sleds and fort-block builders that Santa brought...but it started melting the next day and was completely vanished with in a few days. The week before last the kids and I (including my daycare kiddos) had a snack 'picnic' outside (it was about 50 degrees) and last Sunday I cleaned up my front gardens that I never got to in the fall... There is something wrong with being able to have outdoor picnics and garden in MN in January :-)
